Selling your models couldn't be simpler

Whether you’re downsizing a lifetime’s collection or clearing a loved one’s estate, we’ve made the process straightforward, fair, and stress-free. Here’s how it works.

1

Tell us what you have

Send us a few photos and a rough description by email, WhatsApp or through our contact form. Don’t worry about cataloguing every piece — a general overview is enough to get started.

2

Get a free, no-obligation valuation

We’ll review what you’ve sent and come back to you within 48 hours with a fair market valuation. No pressure, no hidden fees, no obligation to proceed.

3

We handle collection

For larger collections we arrange a home visit anywhere in the UK at no cost to you. For smaller lots we cover insured postage. No sorting, cleaning, or packing required.

4

Fast, secure payment

Once we’ve verified your collection, payment is sent by bank transfer within 48 hours. No waiting weeks for auction settlements, no fees deducted. The price we agree is the price you receive.

What we buy

From pre-war tinplate to modern DCC-ready locomotives, we’re actively buying across all major brands, scales, and eras. Here’s a snapshot of what we’re looking for — but if your collection includes something not listed, get in touch anyway. We consider all quality models.

Scales & types we buy

Not sure what you have? Send us photos and we’ll identify everything for you.

Clearing a loved one's collection

Inherited a model railway collection and not sure where to start? We help families navigate this every year — with patience, honesty, and no pressure.

We handle the identification

You don’t need to know a Hornby Dublo from a Tri-ang, or whether a locomotive is rare or common. Send us photos or let us visit — we’ll identify every item in the collection and explain what you have.

We come to you

For larger collections we travel across the UK to visit you in person. We’ll sort, catalogue, and pack everything ourselves — you don’t need to move a single box. Home visits are free for most of the UK; for longer journeys we may factor a small travel contribution into the valuation, which we’ll always discuss openly with you first.

No pressure, ever

We’ll provide a clear, fair valuation and explain how we reached it. There’s no obligation to sell, and no timeline. Take as long as you need to discuss it with family. We’re here when you’re ready.

We know a collection is often far more than its monetary value. It might represent a parent’s lifelong passion, countless weekends at the workbench, or a hobby that defined part of who they were. We’ll always treat your collection — and the memory behind it — with the respect it deserves.
